How the loop workflow works
Install FakeMirror, pick your regular webcam as the source, and record a short local loop.
In supported meeting tools, choose FakeMirror Camera from the camera selector. The meeting app receives the virtual camera output from your PC.
- Record short loops in the desktop app
- Use the loop as a local virtual camera source
- Keep the source footage on your own computer
- Use the official installer and uninstall flow
Pro roadmap note
The current public build focuses on short loops. A planned Pro version will add unlimited saved loops and loop length up to 5 minutes.
That Pro capability is roadmap copy only and should not be presented as currently purchasable.
