How to uninstall FakeMirror on Windows
FakeMirror can be removed through the normal Windows app uninstall flow. Restart meeting apps afterward so their camera lists update.

Uninstall steps
Open Windows Settings, go to Apps, then Installed apps. Find FakeMirror and choose Uninstall.
After uninstalling, close and reopen any meeting apps that were running. This lets them refresh the available camera device list.
- Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps
- Select FakeMirror
- Choose Uninstall
- Restart meeting apps
- Restart Windows if a meeting app still shows an old camera entry
What gets removed
The uninstall flow removes the FakeMirror desktop app and its local virtual camera runtime from the Windows installation.
FakeMirror does not install browser toolbars, search changes, or bundled offers.
